I am a part of the Christian Marriage Bloggers Association and this month, they have challenged us members to a blogging half-marathon. Since a half-marathon is 13.1 miles, we are required to post every single day for 13 days.
Here's my plan for the 13 days:
This month is my anniversary month.
So, I'm calling this series: "History of a Marriage".
I'm going to give you a little background...
...how we met.
...how we got engaged.
...what our vows read, what Scriptures we picked and why.
...how mentors helped us survive and learn to thrive.
And then, I'm going to share with you...
...some lessons we've learned over the past nine years.
...some of the best marriage advice we've been given.
See you tomorrow!
Now it's time for you to link up your own marriage posts!

I must say, I've never had trouble blogging for thirteen days in a row. I am too chatty to avoid it! I will say, though, that blogging about marriage for that many days in a row would leave me totally paralyzed. There isn't enough for me to blog about in that regard! Now, if I was to have the time and resources, I would do a huge search into the history of marriage in general, especially how the Puritans viewed it. That, I might be able to pull off for thirteen days!
ReplyDeleteHappy blogging!
Sounds like a great plan! I'm not sure I would remember exactly what our vows were. I look forward to reading the rest of your posts.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the story of the warrior wife!
